18/04/2024 – Café Bisous

Saarbrücken has some great brunch places, but none we have found yet have the variety that Café Bisous offers. When I say they have something for everyone, I mean that literally. Sweet, savory, healthy, small, big, vegan, vegetarian…..the menu is extensive. If you find large menus overwhelming, read up on it ahead of time.

We usually go for the Potato Pfanne (pictured above), but our other favorites are their salmon bowl, eggs royale, vegan protein shakes, and shakshouka. I must say I am partial to the shakshouka, which is actually more similar to the Turkish dish Menemen – something my mother would cook often.
(looking for more comfort foods? Café 77 is another great brunch choice, and usually less crowded than Bisous. Buk me vez, anyone?)
All in all a great, something-for-everyone option for weekend brunch – and they have excellent coffee.
